The industrialization process in our world causes energy to become an increasing need every day. This situation brings with it the necessity to use energy efficiently. The fact that the natural resources used to obtain energy are decreasing and the high cost of creating alternative energy sources has once again brought the fact that energy should be used efficiently to the agenda.
TS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EMS) Standard is a standard based on these considerations. The establishment of this system will enable efficient use of energy.
The standard was prepared by the TSE Engineering Services Specialized Group based on the EN 50001 (2011) Standard adopted by ISO and entered into force in December 2011. The purpose of TS EN ISO 50001 EMS is to assist organizations in establishing the systems and processes necessary to improve energy efficiency.
