It is observed that there has been an increase in power outages and fluctuations in the AOSB Distribution Network caused by our participants in our region recently.
The causes of power outages and voltage fluctuations are identified below;
- Failure to carry out maintenance, control and repair works of substations (transformer, medium voltage cell, current transformer, voltage transformer, cable, cable header, etc.) at least 1 (one) time a year,
- DC protection and rectifier system is not in working order,
- Failure of the secondary protection system,
- Overloading the transformer,
- Failure to act in accordance with the regulations on strong current facilities by maneuvering incorrectly on the energized line,
- Failure to have compression systems checked by specialists at regular intervals,
- Failure to overhaul electrical equipment such as transformers, medium voltage cells, current transformers, voltage transformers, etc. that have completed their technical service life,
- Irregular cabling (low voltage and medium voltage) systems and the use of tape instead of cable lugs on cable heads,
- Failure to clean panels and equipment where excessive dust accumulates,
- Installation of the cables even though there were problems in their insulation,
- No fan, air conditioner or dehumidifier-like air conditioning in transformer and panel rooms,
- Failure to perform operational and protection grounding measurements,
- Unbalanced load distribution between phases,
- Due to the extremely hot weather and high humidity in our region, the hygrostat/thermostats in the medium voltage switchgears of our participants are not checked frequently,
By carrying out the above-mentioned maintenance and improvement works, we will be able to ensure that the maintenance and improvement works that may occur in our enterprises are carried out;
card failure of electronic devices, breakdowns in industrial machines and most importantly, job losses can be prevented.
